Everyone KNOWS the Democrats are hoping we fail in Iraq - which obviously is not what is best for the country, but is what is best for their careers. The Republicans would be hoping the same if there was a Democrat in the White House.
Wouldn't an HONEST and PRINCIPLED politician be refreshing?!
"Profiles in Courage," written by JFK, profiles politicians from both parties who showed courage in their conviction and made decisions based upon their beliefs. Their bravery cost them their elected offices, but they did what was right.
Is there anyone like that around today?
